Nearly a year has passed since Yellowstone's midseason finale aired, and it has been a rollercoaster year with Paramount Network cancelling its greatest success and the WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes putting a stop to the remaining episodes of the show's production.
However, the network was finally able to reveal on Thursday when the programme will resume: November 2024, for what looks to be an unforgettable farewell.
You may remember that the patriarch of the Dutton family, John (Kevin Costner),
was planning to kill his cunning adopted son Jamie (Wes Bentley) back in January when Yellowstone stopped for what was believed to be only a midseason break.
There appeared to be a chance that Yellowstone might be given a reprieve, even after Paramount Network stated that it was discontinuing the show due to rumoured difficulties between Costner and co-creator Taylor Sheridan.
Puck claims that Sheridan finished writing the scripts for the second half of the show's fifth season without involving Costner before the WGA strike broke out in May.
The actor's representatives subsequently stated his wish to return for Season 5B and perhaps even Seasons 6 and 7, according to the industry-insider magazine.
CLEARWATER, Utah — Collin Sexton would be there if you ever managed to go into the Utah Jazz practise facility early on the day of a game.
