Why Lillard isn't joining the Warriors is explained.

Damian Lillard, the standout player for the disgruntled Portland Trail Blazers, would object to a trade to his hometown Golden State Warriors.

On the September 19 episode of "It Is What It Is," Lillard said, "As far as Golden State,

like I admire what they've been doing over the last eight, nine years or whatever,

and I'm from there clearly that's home, but I can't go be a part of that.""They took home four titles.

What [would] I seem like if I tried to do that and said that I was joining my home team? I wouldn't do that, for one thing.

In other words, he'd never accomplish what Kevin Durant did in 2016 that helped the Warriors win two titles.

If I were Kevin Durant, I wouldn't have done that personally because it's the team that [he] just lost to and it's a team that has won once,

Lillard said, adding that KD is, undoubtedly, one of the greatest players of all time.
