When he unveils the controversial wax figure, Dwayne Johnson chuckles to himself.

The actor announced that he would "update" the skin tone of a wax sculpture of himself that the Grevin Museum in Paris had just unveiled.

The former WWE wrestler posted a picture of a figure that was described as "missing all the color" on Instagram.

For the record, I'm going to have my team reach out to our friends at Grevin Museum in Paris,

France so we can work at 'updating' my wax figure here with some important details and improvements - starting with my skin color,"

Johnson wrote on Instagram on Monday. Johnson claimed to have "belly laughed" at responses to the statue.

Johnson was "right" to draw attention to the incorrect skin tone, according to the Grevin Museum in Paris,

and it was "fixed overnight".The skin tone has been fixed, according to a museum spokesman.

When the 6-foot-5-inch sculpture was first unveiled, the museum stated that it "presented many challenges" for the sculpting team.

"Age is just a word for living," said Anne Hathaway.
