Tiger Woods comeback: Expected timeline, current injury and more

Tiger Woods reportedly raised the intensity and frequency of his practise on Wednesday, October 25, amid rumours of a comeback.

He was observed striking some balls earlier this month at The Hay, a golf course in Pebble Beach, California, where he played a few rounds with his son, Charlie.

Woods revealed the field for the next event at the Albany Golf Course in the Bahamas earlier this week.

Although 19 of the 20 participants were confirmed, one position was reserved for a later announcement.

There is conjecture that it was saved for the 15-time major champion.Woods has won the Hero World Challenge trophy five times in his career, most recently in 2011 when he defeated Zach Johnson.

Johnson won by one stroke. While these sources indicate that the PGA Tour veteran may return, it is unknown if he will do it at the Hero World Challenge or another event.

The 47-year-old has been out of action since withdrawing from the Masters Tournament on the penultimate day.

For those who are unaware, he has been struggling with right knee problems since a catastrophic accident in 2021.
