The New York Jets' quarterback situation has not gone as planned when future
Hall of Fame quarterback Aaron Rodgers sustained a season-ending ankle injury during his first drive with the team earlier this month.
And the team made a move this week that they will definitely hope boosts the position group for the rest of the season.
The New York Jets have signed veteran quarterback Trevor Siemian to help bolster
the quarterback situation, according to NFL source Adam Schefter of ESPN.
"Jets are planning to add to their QB room: Veteran QB Trevor Siemian is signing with the Jets, pending a physical, per sources,"
Schefter wrote on X, the social media website that replaced Twitter.
Given the team's quarterback woes, it's a significant decision, and the NFL world had much to say about it on social media.
