This spring, UC Berkeley will become the latest member of a select group of prestigious,
universities that have offered Taylor Swift classes, which already includes Stanford, New York University,
and the University of Texas at Austin.The 13-week course, "Artistry and Entrepreneurship: Taylor's Version,"
is provided at its Haas School of Business. Swift's use of literary devices (weeks five and six),
"Swiftonomics" (week seven), and Swift's deft use of artistic identities (weeks eight and nine,
in a unit named "victim/victim complex") are only a few of the themes covered in the course.
The creators of the course saw Swift as a unique example of a musician who combines business acumen with creative skill.
