Taylor Swift surpasses Morgan Wallen's 12-week run at the top of the Billboard chart to reclaim the top spot.

Up until this week, when Swift outperformed the country crooner with her 2022 album Midnights,

country star Morgan Wallen had been ruling the Billboard 200 chart for 12 weeks with his most recent album, One Thing at a Time.

Veteran voice actor removed from animated program for anti-Israel comments: 'I only found out through Twitter!'

Swift's dual deluxe album reissues, each with bonus tracks, have contributed to its enormous sales and success on streaming services.

While the Til Dawn edition can be streamed, the Late Night edition is only available during her global Eras stadium tour.

Overall, since its release in October, Midnights has spent 32 weeks in the Top 10 and 29 weeks in the Top 5.

Wallen's 12-week victory was no mean feat—she beat Whitney Houston's record-breaking 11-week run in 1987 with her album of the same name,

which included hits like "So Emotional" and "I Wanna Dance with Somebody (Who Loves Me)."

Swift joins musical icons like ABBA, Mariah Carey, Céline Dion, and Michael Jackson as one of the 30 best-selling artists of all time and one of the wealthiest female celebrities. Her vast, genre-spanning discography has brought her 40 No. 1 hits and 190 Top 40 tracks.
