The current Las Vegas Raiders regime has reached a breaking point.
The Raiders fired both coach Josh McDaniels and general manager Dave Ziegler, according to a news statement issued late Tuesday night.
The duo was fired after less than two seasons with the team.
"After much thought about what the Raiders need to move forward, I have decided to part ways with Josh and Dave," Raiders owner Mark Davis said in a statement.
"I want to thank them both for their hard work and wish them and their families nothing but the best."
According to Albert Breer of Sports Illustrated, the Raiders also sacked offensive coordinator Mick Lombardi on Monday.
It was unclear who would succeed McDaniels as the team's offensive coordinator.
