On tour, country singer Dupre replaces Randy Travis.

James Dupre, a country crooner, is aware of his role on the More Life Tour, which is dedicated to promoting Randy Travis's music.

Travis suffered a stroke in 2013 and hasn't performed much since.

Due to the circumstances, Travis developed apraxia, a rare disorder that affects speech and effective communication.

Dupre is now, in a sense, the singing equivalent of veteran actor Travis.

Recently, Dupre said, "I've been told that I have a similar tone," on the Bobby Bones TV Show, which is broadcast from Nashville, Tennessee.

"However, I refuse to attempt to sound like him. Recognize what I mean?

"Because I don't believe it is feasible." However, I believe my range is comparable.

The original Randy Travis Band's tour will come to an end on July 22 at Nashville's Brown County Music Center.
