LSU gymnast Olivia "Livvy" Dunne is expected to earn the most from the NCAA's eased limitations on student athletes monetizing their name, image, and likeness.
She is the most following student athlete on social media, with over 5.7 million followers on TikTok and Instagram.
Dunne announced her first exclusive brand relationship with activewear brand Vuori after joining with WME Sports for representation last month.
I spoke with Dunne about her first NIL contract, and it was evident that the 18-year-old sophomore is striking a balance between her life as a student athlete prior to NIL and all the new chances that have fallen at her feet.
When asked how she's sifting through the countless brands that are likely coming up to collaborate with her, Dunne says she's been taking her time finding brands that align with her unique brand.
"This is my first exclusive brand deal I've ever done, so I was trying to find a brand to work with that is authentic to me and that I would want to introduce to my audience to because they trust me."
When Dunne was asked what she wanted people to know about her arrangement with Vuori, her voice became animated.
"I'm very excited about this collaboration with Vuori." I can't wait to share it with my audience. Since the first time I put on my first Vuori sports bra, I knew it was high-quality material that I wanted to share with my followers since it felt right to me.
