Mia Khalifa Makes a Startling Remark About Rashida Tlaib

Mia Khalifa has shared a claim that all Democrats who voted with Republicans to censure Rashida Tlaib this week received substantial contributions from a pro-Israel political action committee.

The House of Representatives voted 234 to 188 on Tuesday to censure the Democratic representative from Michigan and the only Palestinian American in Congress for comments she made about the Israel-Hamas conflict.

Tlaib sparked outrage last week when he defended the divisive slogan "from the river to the sea" and urged lawmakers to join calls for a Gaza ceasefire.

The phrase is divisive, according to the Anti-Defamation League, because it implies "the dismantling of the Jewish state."

Tlaib, on the other hand, describes the chant as a "aspirational call for freedom, human rights, and peaceful coexistence, not death."

"I will not be silenced, and I will not let you distort my words," Tlaib declared in the House. "No government is immune to criticism."

The notion that criticizing Israel's government is antisemitic sets a dangerous precedent, and it has been used to silence diverse voices advocating for human rights across our country."

Tlaib also said she had condemned the Hamas attacks on Israeli citizens several times and she has in the past called the war a "genocide."
