Taylor Sheridan's new limited series about Bass Reeves (David Oyelowo), the first Black U.S. Marshal west of the Mississippi, is coming to town to satiate your craving for more Western drama.

As the release date of Lawmen: Bass Reeves approaches, the series' overall picture begins to take shape.

Along with the huge cast list (which includes at least one familiar figure from the Yellowstone universe), we now have a trailer and a release date.

While the initial season will focus on Bass Reeves, subsequent seasons of the anthology series will focus on other real-life lawmen.

On October 10, the official trailer for Lawmen: Bass Reeves was released, providing audiences with a better look at Oyelowo's portrayal of Bass Reeves,

as well as other major players such as Lauren E. Banks as Bass' wife Jennie, Dennis Quaid as Deputy U.S. Marshal Sherrill Lynn, and Donald Sutherland as Judge Isaac Parker.

Bass Reeves's release date           Lawmen: Bass Reeves premieres on Paramount+ on Sunday, November 5th. The first two episodes of the six-part limited series will be released simultaneously.
