In a tribute to Taylor Swift's "Girl Crush," Britney Spears calls her the "Most Iconic Pop Woman of Our Generation."

Britney Spears paused to highlight Taylor Swift, another pop sensation, while she rejoices over the ongoing success of her best-selling new memoir, The Woman in Me.

On Instagram, Spears shared a pair of old pictures from 2003 and 2008 that featured Swift and her standing next to each other and grinning.

She wrote about her first encounter with the now 33-year-old, which happened while on tour:

"There was a knock, and then he said, 'I have a girl named Taylor who wants to come in and sing for you.'"

I thought, "Of course!" As soon as he enters, she begins to play a lovely song on her guitar. I was astounded by her incredible talent.

Once we took a photo of her, she turned into our generation's most recognizable pop star.

Swift was enjoying her first concert after a fall break when Spears sent her sweet note to her during a stop on her Eras Tour in Buenos Aires, Argentina.

One very special Swiftie was present at the Saturday, Nov. 11 show in addition to the throngs of fans: Travis Kelce.
