Elizabeth Olsen's Life After Marvel Was Never the Same

Mary-Kate and Ashley, the twin child performers who starred in the 1987 comedy "Full House" for eight seasons,

were probably the most well-known Olsen family members ten years ago. Thanks to several TV shows,

direct-to-video releases, and eventually becoming fashion moguls, they went on to become two of the biggest child stars of the 1990s and early 2000s.Years later,

though, Elizabeth Olsen, the younger of the twins, stole the show. She chose not to pursue a career in child acting and instead made her big screen debut in the independent 2011 film "Martha Marcy May Marlene."

Thanks in part to her nearly ten years of work in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as the reality-bending sorceress Wanda Maximoff,

commonly known as the Scarlet Witch, she has become one of the biggest stars of the 2020s since her breakout.

Although Olsen's rise from a supporting role in a Marvel film to one of the franchise's greatest stars was a gradual process,

it undoubtedly influenced who she is now. Particularly as the actress gets ready for a long sabbatical from the role,
