Dolly Parton will perform at halftime when the Cowboys face the Commanders on Thanksgiving.

Dolly Parton will be there to greet everyone on Thanksgiving afternoon.

The iconic country music singer confirmed to CBS News' Norah O'Donnell that she will perform at the Dallas Cowboys' game against the Washington Commanders on Nov. 23.

Parton suggested on Monday that she has a lot in store for fans who watch and attend the game at AT&T Stadium.

"We're going to do some stuff that everybody can sing along to," Parton stated in an interview with "CBS Mornings" .

"They'll know the songs I'm doing. ... I want people to be surprised and enjoy it."

Both Dallas and Washington are attempting to correct their trajectory.

With their win in Atlanta on Sunday, the Commanders ended a three-game losing streak

while the Cowboys had lost two of their previous three by double digits.

On Monday night, the Dallas Cowboys face the Los Angeles Chargers.

Both clubs are presently staring up at the Philadelphia Eagles, who have 5-1 after losing their first game of the season.
