Deion Sanders: Colorado Buffs football robbery at Rose Bowl is ‘a travesty’

BOULDER — Regarding the alleged Rose Bowl crime, Coach Prime was not exactly kind.

Deion Sanders, the football coach at the University of Colorado at Boulder, called the robberies of players' and staff members'

' belongings during their Saturday night game against UCLA at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, "a travesty."

The 4-4 Buffs (1-4 Pac-12) will play Oregon State at Folsom Field on Saturday at 8 p.m., according to Sanders. 

If the stolen goods cannot be found, CU is compiling a list of the missing items, which include jewelry, 

personal belongings, and football memorabilia, according to Pasadena authorities.

Sanders went on, "This is the Rose Bowl, this is 'The Grandaddy Of Them All.'

 "Grandpa definitely has some cash." Grandpa ought to have some cash to part with these kids. .. Even though they might not be able to get their stuff back, they ought to be able to get their money back."
