Colorado star Travis Hunter is likely to miss the September 30 game against USC.

For USC, this is bad news since it's never good when a great athlete gets hurt. Even worse is when the athlete is hurt as a result of an opponent's foul play.

However, the actuality of USC's trip to Boulder on September 30 to play the Colorado Buffaloes is altered by this revelation.

Travis Hunter, a two-way cornerback-receiver who has helped Colorado drastically improve on the field this season,

is anticipated to miss several weeks of activity. This is because, in Colorado's victory over Colorado State on Saturday,

he was injured as a result of an excessive hit that was assessed a 15-yard penalty.

During his post-game press conference, Colorado coach Deion Sanders stated, "The first thing I heard was that he would be out for a few weeks.

"I know I heard that. But we'll take all the necessary steps to look after him. Travis will most likely want a two-week vacation,

I know that. However, we need to make sure he's okay. This game is not as crucial as his health.
