LEBron James Made NBA History During Rockets-Lakers Game

During Sunday's game, LeBron James moved up on the NBA's all-time steals list.

On Sunday evening, the Los Angeles Lakers are hosting the Houston Rockets in California.

LeBron James created NBA history by moving atop the all-time steals chart during the game.

James came into the evening with 2,205 career steals, and he has now passed Hall of Famer Clyde Drexler (2,207) for eighth on the list.

The next player for James to pass will be six-time NBA Champion Scottie Pippen (2,307).

James entered the evening with averages of 25.5 points, 8.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.6 steals per contest while shooting 57.2% from the field and 39.7% from the three-point range in 12 games.

The Lakers are the seventh seed in the Western Conference with a 7-6 record in their first 13 games, and most recently defeated the Portland Trail Blazers by a score of 107-95.

Following the Rockets, they will play their next game on Wednesday evening when they host Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks in Los Angeles, California.

James remains one of the NBA's top ten players and will almost certainly play in his 20th straight All-Star Game. He is a four-time NBA Champion in his 21st season (his sixth with the Lakers).
