A number of firms, including WisdomTree Investments on Nov. 16, have recently updated their spot bitcoin ETF filings
suggesting that discussions with the Securities and Exchange Commission are progressing toward a potential approval.
According to multiple people familiar with the matter, ETF issuers are adding risk disclosures and tweaking their proposals based on conversations with the agency.
The SEC must make a decision on ARK's application by January 11, which is the earliest deadline for a spot bitcoin ETF.
