Are Robert Downey Jr., Scarlett Johansson, and Chris Evans Returning To Save The MCU's Sinking Ship? Marvel Is Reportedly Making An Avengers Film With The Original Cast, and Here's Everything You Need To Know!

The Marvel Cinematic Universe has been suffering with its material since Avengers: Endgame, which is no longer news. It has now been joined by the domestic abuse lawsuit against Jonathan Majors, who plays a pivotal figure in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Marvel must be getting desperate.  It was considered the pinnacle of Marvel with Evans, Downey, and Johansson on the original team.

The studio thrived with Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, and Jeremy Renner. But things have been difficult since the 2019 epic, in which RDJ's Iron Man and ScarJo's Black Widow die and Evans' Captain America grows old.

Jonathan Majors, aka Kang the Conqueror, has been set up as the next great villain in the MCU, but he, too, has a domestic abuse story.

Aside from that, it's unclear whether Robert Downey Jr. and Scarlett Johansson would agree to return for another Avengers picture. On Gwyneth Paltrow's podcast, the Lucy star responded sharply, adding, "Chapter is over."

In terms of Avengers films, there are two in the works: Avengers: The Kang Dynasty and Secret Wars.

Both have the multiverse notion and can help bring back the original cast. According to the source, both Marvel and Disney are concerned about Jonathan Majors' domestic violence conviction.

They may replace him if necessary. Not only that, but they may introduce a new villain in the final stages as well.  For the time being, Jonathan Majors can be seen as Victor Timely in Loki Season 2, which is available on Disney+.
