Anthony Hopkins and Wife Stella Arroyave Attend Salma Hayek's Brother's Art Exhibition

The actor stood at the Los Angeles show opening with his spouse, Salma Hayek, and Demi Moore.

The 85-year-old Oscar winner and his spouse Stella Arroyave attended the opening of Salma Hayek's brother Sami Hayek's art

exhibit, "Frequency," on Thursday at Christie's Los Angeles in Beverly Hills.

Throughout the occasion, Hopkins grinned as he and Arroyave, 67, posed for pictures alone and with the artist, beside Salma, 57, her husband François-Henri Pinault, and Demi Moore.

Sami spoke to PEOPLE at the event about getting help from friends in Los Angeles.

I have had a very blessed life because I know people from all walks of life, and what I value in any people,

regardless of their background or regardless of what they do or if they're successful in their field or not, I pretty much value authenticity," he stated.

"I really value people who have the courage to be an individual, and this city is blessed with all of that," said Sami.

Salma has a long-standing friendship with Hopkins. The actress supported Hopkins by staying at his side when

he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2003, the year he married Arroyave.

"Age is just a word for living," said Anne Hathaway.
