According to reports, Deion Sanders changed his coaching staff and reassigned play-calling duties.

When Colorado plays No. 16 Oregon State on Saturday, Deion Sanders intends to demote a member of his on-field assistant coaching staff

and turn play-calling duties over to analyst Pat Shurmur, according to a report from Brett McMurphy of The Action Network.

Shurmur joined the Buffaloes' support staff in the offseason. From 2018 to 2019, he led the New York Giants as head coach.

From 2020 to 21 he served as the Denver Broncos' offensive coordinator. Saturday,

Shurmur will call plays for the Buffaloes as offensive coordinator Sean Lewis signals them in from the field, according to McMurphy.

Sanders must demote or terminate one of his ten on-field assistants in order to promote Shurmur to a full-time position.

According to McMurphy, it's unclear who will serve as that assistant right now.

Before joining the NFL, Shurmur coached offensive lines at the collegiate level from 1990 to 1998. So far this season, Colorado's biggest obvious weakness has been the offensive line.

"Age is just a word for living," said Anne Hathaway.
