According to Ja Morant-Jaren Jackson Jr., social media development has gone viral.

The popular Twitter account @theNBAalert tracks NBA figures' social media behavior.

The account reports when NBA players, coaches, executives, and others unfollow or follow someone new, but how it works is unknown.

While it's generally useless, the account has a large following, which can make its reports go viral.

One of this account's most viral Tweets was that Memphis Grizzlies star Jaren Jackson Jr.

unfollowed Ja Morant. The post has over 1M views and is spreading quickly.

Some people find this type of development interesting, especially in the NBA offseason, but this claim is false.

Jackson follows three Twitter accounts—the Grizzlies, his other account, and rapper Ken Carson—and did not unfollow Ja Morant like this account suggested.

Jackson may have followed Morant, but his Twitter page has only followed the three accounts for a while.
