A Horror Box Office Hit and Potential Sequel, Five Nights at Freddy's

The highly successful video game "Five Nights at Freddy's" has been adapted into a film by mma Tammi, which has been a hit at the box office, becoming the highest grossing horror film of the year.

Films such as "Scream VI" and "M3GAN" have been overshadowed by the spooky story about a haunted pizzeria, which has made an astounding $113 million at the domestic box office.

With less than two months remaining in 2023, it remains to be seen if "Five Nights at Freddy's" can shatter more records before it leaves the big screen.

The acclaimed 2014 independent video game is brought to life in a live-action film that tells the tale of Mike (Josh Hutcherson), a jobless candidate who receives a fascinating offer from the mysterious William Afton (Matt Lillard).

Upon taking on the position of the recently appointed security guard at the long-closed Freddy Fazbear's Pizza, Mike finds himself in a terrifying situation.

While taking care of his younger sister Abby (played by Piper Rubio), he also has to protect the establishment from the evil animatronics that come to life after dark.

A potentially exciting opportunity quickly turns into a terrifying experience as the animatronics' evil plans come to light.

Considering its comparatively small $25 million budget, there were high expectations for the movie's success. However, audiences were shocked when it made an astounding $80 million during its opening weekend.
