Taylor Swift declares that her version of "1989" is now available! This is what we currently understand.

The official reissue of Taylor Swift's "1989" album is now available.

After months of waiting, the pop star's "1989 (Taylor's Version)" record finally arrived on October 27 at 12 a.m. ET.

"My name is Taylor, and I was born in 1989," Swift said on Instagram, sharing pictures from her most recent re-recorded album along with the words.

"I was born in 1989, reinvented for the first time in 2014, and a part of me was reclaimed in 2023....

with the re-release of this album I love so dearly," the singer wrote in a handwritten note that she also included.

"I never imagined the magic you would bring to my life for such an extended period of time," she went on.

"All of this love between us is still glowing in the deepest darkness, and this moment is a reflection of the woods we've wandered through."

With immense thanks and wonder, I offer you my interpretation of 1989. It has been anticipating your arrival," she said.
